Wednesday Morning, May 2

May 2, 2018

1) I cannot write well if I feel rushed. I get panicky and second-guessy and I freeze. So trying to work on a column this morning was not a good idea.

2) Yesterday being May Day, of course I remembered to wear a bow tie with flowers.

2a) But the most important tradition is my friend David posting Julie Andrews singing "The Lusty Month of May" from Camelot.

3) One of the meanings of the flower lily-of-the-valley is "the return of happiness."
