1) The last week of January is the anniversary of my coming out, and this year that makes 30 years. “And what a lot has happened since,” as they say in the novels.
1a) The photo is from the Debutante Party of 1992, which I held to celebrate the third anniversary. I was looking through a couple photo albums this afternoon . . .
2) And I almost forgot that today, January 29, is the anniversary of my first day of work at ye Instytytte . . . and that was 29 years ago! At least I remembered during the cocktail hour and could call Original Boss and His Lovely Wife to wish them a happy anniversary.
3) It’s no fun observing these milestones in bed with a bad cold, but there you are. At least it doesnt seem to be the flu! And I keep reminding myself that compared to so many others, my burdens are light.
