THIS IS ROBERT TALKING . . . Or, the Dark Side of Etiquetteer :-)

The focal point of my midday meditation. I am rarely "on trend," but apparently these clear eyeglasses are the rage right now. They were a total impulse purchase, and now I love them more than my other glasses.

Wednesday Night, May 23

May 23, 2018

1) Mercy, I'm never going to be able to read all those privacy policies . . . and they're counting on that!

2) Today I made it to Wednesday Midday Meditation at the office, which is conducted by a retired staffer by popular demand. What a palpable benefit; this really brought me to a better, more relaxed place at a time of year when I really need to be there.

2a) And there were a few situations today when I really needed some calm - and I had it when needed.

3) After a 12-hour day*, I actually went for a swim for the first time in many weeks. I'm glad I did, though I huff and puff like a hippo.

BONUS: Commute home after swim of ideal connections: bus arrived ten seconds after I sat down, train pulled into the station as I got there, walk signal lit up just as I approach the intersection.

*That's not a complaint, just an observation. Long days are what's necessary in the weeks just before Reunions, and I accept that knowledgably.
