Saturday, March 18

1) Today would have been Gramma's 115th birthday. This photo shows her in 1920 wearing her wedding dress. She and my grandfather were married on Leap Day, 1920, at a dance - which was a surprise to everyone else there! They were to lead the Grand March, and apparently there was general surprise when the orchestra struck up the Wedding March from Lohengrin, the famous "Here Comes the Bride" march. And a JP met them at the end and married them right then and there!

2) C.S. Lewis and Kahlil Gibran.

3) I'm serious about an MFA meetup tomorrow afternoon . . . message me if interested.
