Sunday Afternoon, May 27

May 27, 2018

1) In the most beautiful, relaxed state after an hour and 45 minutes of a NAP. Oh, I needed that!

2) I took my cuppa into the garden for tea - a cool, gray afternoon with a fresh breeze - and phoned a friend who'd responded to Etiquetteer's summer reading list with this comment about Valley of the Dolls "It’s the cheapest kind of sensationalism, VERY badly written, cliche-drenched, silly, and as removed from reality as is possible. It’s a production of a cheap and vulgar mind." To which I had to reply "That is exactly why I included it on the list!" And we had a good laugh.

3) Oh mercy, listening to the latest episode of Help I Sexted My Boss. Those guys are fabulous.
